Note: Nancy was born to: John Lee and Agnes Jennings Lee. She married John Fine 10/1800 in Cocke Co., Tennessee. They had the following children: Mary Polly, Elizabeth Ann, Sarah, Peter Lee, Mahala, Nancy E., Abraham B., Minerva Caroline, John(who was lost at sea) and Martha Louise. Nancy's husband John, three of her daughters and a son-in-law Jabin Snow Taylor are thought to have died of a very contagious pneumonia outbreak in early 1857. Possibly, Nancy died from its lingering effect since she was bed fast for two years before her death. Her son Peter's letter of 01/261858 to his sister, Elizabeth Hill states: "I was in Tenn. last fall and the appearance of the old house is truly a sad one. Mother Nancy and Martha are the only occupants with 5 graves in the orchard together with Mother's bad health…". Peter later was a Lieutenant in the Confederate Army and died from wounds sustained in the Battle of Wilson's Creek near his home in Dade Co., MO. Nancy was born to: John Lee and Agnes Jennings Lee.
