Biography

Ida (Leggroan) Dixon is a part of US Black heritage.

NOTE: The surname is spelled a variety of ways in different documents including Leggroan, Lagrone, Legrone, etc.

Ida was born in 1888 in Idaho. She was the daughter of Edward Leggroan and Susan Gray. ^[1]

Ida married Sylvester Dixon in 1907 in Rigby, Idaho.^[2]

In 1920 and 1930 Ida and Sylvester were living in Idaho Falls, Idaho with one son.^[3][4]

She passed away in 1976 in a Salt Lake nursing home.^[1] She was buried in the Elysian Burial Gardens in Millcreek, Utah. ^[5]
