Harry E. Leland died peacefully after a long illness on November 19, 2012. He is survived by his wife Lois Adkins Leland who resides at their home in Potomac, MD. He also is survived by his son Harry Leland (Nilah); his daughter Donna Hunter; his son William Leland; his daughters Diane Langley (Joseph) and Janice Leland; his stepdaughter Lynn Adkins and stepson Gary Adkins, and 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was a retired Lt. Col. in the Marine Corps and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The funeral will be held at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, November 25 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at 4900 Connecticut Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20008. A reception will be held following the 12:30 p.m. service. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
