According to her tombstone pictured on Findagrave [1] Janet was born 2 May 1753 possibly in Ireland. She married Samuel Watt. They had six children Rosey Ann Watt Bowie Gilmer, Mary (Polley) Watt Kyle, Nancy Ann Watt Grisham, Elizabeth Watt Lesly, and Samuel Lesly Watt, and Jane/Jenny/Jennet Belgen Watt Weatherall. She died 3 February 1805 in Abbeville County, South Carolina and is buried in the Upper Long Cane Cemetery. [2]
In her will, Jennet Watt, widow of Abbeville County named the following heirs. The will was proved March 2, 1805:[3]
