I don't remember Mother ever discussing "Clare" who would have been her maternal uncle. I don't remember hearing about Donald, but I do remember hearing about Nord from Mother. Nord and Donald would have been her first cousins. Mother just referred to the fact that she was the only female grandchild, until Charlotte Lester was born. Charlotte was Arthur Lester's daughter, Arthur was brother to Clarence. Donald and Hazel divorced before 1930.
