Biography
Ann was born about 1820 to Thomas Lester, an engineer and his wife Sarah in Netherton and baptised 29 Oct 1820 at St. Thomas' Dudley. [1]
She married Thomas Russon 28 May 1838 at St. Thomas, Dudley. Thomas was of full age and his father was Joseph, a nailor; Ann was a minor and her father was Thomas Lester, an engineer. Witnesses were William Kaire and Jane Kaire. [2]
Ann was enumerated in the 1851 England Census, aged 30 and living with husband, Thomas, 34 years old and a nailer. Living with the couple were their children: Thomas 11, Sarah 8, Simeon 4, and Abigail 2. [3]
