Barbary, age 14, is among the passengers arriving in Philadelphia on board the Ship Billinder Oliver, Samuel Merchant, Master, from South Carolina, 26 August 1735. "Eighteen Switzers, who, with their Families, making in all forty five Persons, were imported here."[1]. See her presumptive father's profile for more details.
