Biography
Patrick Joseph LEVINS was the eleventh, and youngest, child of cabinet maker Richard LEVINS and his wife Margaret BUTLER. He does not appear to have used his middle name in later life.
Born: 15 Jul 1900, at 123 Upper Dorset Street, Dublin. [1]
1901 Census: Living with parents and siblings in 123 Upper Dorset Street (see Research Notes). [2]
1911 Census: Living with parents and siblings in 4 Margaret Place (561 North Circular Road). [3]
Occupation: Cabinet Maker (from marriage records onwards).
Married: Catherine GAYNOR on 5 Feb 1928, in St Mary’s Pro Cathedral (Roman Catholic). Witnesses: J GAYNOR JOSEPH & Margaret DOUGLAS. [4]
Died: 19 Apr 1948, Dublin. [5]

Research Notes
The entire LEVINS family, across two households, appears in the 1901 Census under a different surname - KEARNS.[7] [8] This was the surname of Richard senior's step father, who he had grown up with,[9] but neither he nor the rest of the family appears to use this name at any other time.
