Adeline Elizabeth Lewis (married name George) was born in 1876 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, daughter of Matilda Louisa (Fooks) Lewis and John Thomas Lewis.^{[citation needed]}

She married Mathew Henry George in 1899 in Victoria.^[1] Their son was:

Adeline died on 17 March 1939 in Oakleigh, Victoria, aged 63 years.^[3] Her remains were buried on 20 March 1939 at Boroondara General Cemetery in Kew, Victoria (Wesleyan B: Grave 0116).
