Biography
Church (The Green Meeting House, St Thomas, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, Wales) birth register provides Martha's birth date as 23 July 1777, and baptism on 10 August 1777. Her father was Thomas Lewis, but there is no mention her mother's name. The register also notes that Martha had two younger brothers, Henry born in 1779, and John born in 1781.
