He is mentioned in his father's will.[1] His own will is dated March 9, 1789. Lived in Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, NY. Well beloved wife: Rachel, pregnant. Daughters: Rachel. Jemima. Mary. Sons: Leonard. Elias. Executors: wife. Lewis Du Bois. Elias Van Bunschooten. Witnesses were Thomas Noxon, Peter Buys, Jr. and Js. (James) Elderkin. Proved September 15, 1789.[2] The unborn child mentioned in the will was baptized, Catelina, before his death on 7 Sep 1789.[3]
