Harry B. Lewis, 90, of Round Rock and formerly of Georgetown passed awayThursday, June 2, 2005.
Harry was born December 29, 1914, to Gordon Lewis and Lina (Roe)Lewis in Jarrell. He graduated from Georgetown High School and latergraduated from Daniel Baker College in Brownwood with a bachelor’s degreein science. He worked fro the Social Security Administration forthirty-plus years until his retirement. Upon retirement he became afulltime rancher, enjoying the ranching life on the family ranch locatedin Williamson and Burnet counties.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers andsisters.
Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Ima K. Lewis of Round Rock; twodaughters, Harriet Rea of Florence and Susan Anschutz of Austin; fivegrandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was from 6 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2005, at theCook-Walden/Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown with Chaplain Dean Hamiltonofficiating. Interment services followed at the Andice Cemetery inAndice, Texas.
Pallbearers were John Brennan, Sean Arndt, Buster Frazier, EricAnschutz, Aaron Anschutz, Darrell Lewis, Charles McKinney and CarlMcKinney. Honorary pallbearer was John Pace.
