He lived with his parents and siblings in Foxton, Clark, South Dakota in 1910.[2]
He married Hannah Foreman in 1911. He was a farmer in Foxton in Clark Co, South Dakota.[3]
He was a farmer, married with one child in June 1917. He is described as of medium height, stout build with brown hair and blue eyes.[4]
His second wife was widow Anna Nielson née Stornquist. She was born in Norberg in Sweden. They were both 54 years old when they married on January 6, 1941 in Rock Rapids in Iowa.[5]
He is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Watertown, Codington County, South Dakota.[6]
