Gaetana Liggio is a Corleone native resident, the daughter of Maestro Vincenzo Liggio and Giuseppa di Bello.
Gaetana marries at least twice, first to Gaetano Jannazzo, son of the living Giuseppe Jannazzo and the late Anna Mancuso, on 27 September 1840. Her parents have died by this time.[1]
Gaetana remarries, to Maestro Giuseppe Ciancimino, on 17 December 1843.[2]
Maestro Giuseppe Antonio dies at age 28 (b. 1824) on 10 May 1852.[3] According to the note written in the beginning of the 1848 death records, opposite the index, Maestro Antonino Maria Ciancimino is shot on 10 May 1852, in the Piano del Borgo.[4] This is a main plaza in town, where criminals were executed in 1837 during the riots.
