Biography

Olof Lindman was born on April 19, 1720 at Tullgarn in Södermanland, Sweden. He was the son of Olof Lindman and his wife Anna Catharina Kjelling.[1][2]

He moved in to Ramnäs parish from Västerås in 1750.[3]

He married widow Anna Welamsdotter Bovin on January 13, 1752 in Ramnäs.[4] She was the daughter of master smith Welam Bovin at Virsbo bruk.

They had seven children, 4 sons and 3 daughters: Hans Wilhelm b. 1752, Abraham (1754.1754), Antonius b. 1755, Johan b. 1757, Ulrika b. 1759, Anna Cajsa b. 1761 and Christina b. 1766.

Han omnämns som skytt, skogvaktare, hovskytt and hovjägare i olika källor.

Olof moved to his son Anton in Tväransbäcken in Västerfärnebo in 1799 and lived there until 1815.[5]

He passed away on January 7, 1820 in Seglingbo in Ramnäs parish, Västmanland, Sweden. He died of old age, and was 99 years and 8 months. He was buried on January 16, 1820 in Ramnäs.[6][7]

Research notes

Not able to find his birth record in Hönö parish (where Tullgarn is). Västerfärnebo household book has birth 19 April 1720, Grödinge, Sörmland. Not found there either.
