Biography
Maria was born late in 1877 or early in 1878. [1]She is the daughter of Thomas Liptrot and Martha Blakeley.
The 1891 Census found the family on Egyptian Street in Little Bolton All Saints, Lancashire. Maria's occupation was given as a knotter in a cotton mill. [2]
