Biography

Amant Lisot was born 6 March 1753 in Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière, and was baptized the following day. His parents were Joseph Lisot and Catherine Boucher.[1]

He married Marie Louise Lagassé on 8 January 1775 in Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière.[2] Together, they had the following children:

  2. Joseph b. 1777[4]
  3. Marie Catherine b. 1778[5]
  4. Amand b. 1780[6]
  5. Marie Victoire b. 1782[7]
  6. Pierre b. 1784[8]
  7. Charles François b. 1786[9]
  8. Etienne Pascal b. 1787[10]
  9. Marie Charlotte b. 1789[11]
  10. Marie Celeste b. 1790[12]
  11. André b. 1791[13]
  12. Jean Baptiste b. 1793[14]
  13. Louis b. 1796[15]
  14. Jean Baptiste m. 1818[16]
  15. Bernard b. 1802[17]
  16. François m. 1808[18]

He later married Angélique Lebel on 16 October 1809 in Rivière-Ouelle. He died 22 December 1822 and was buried the following day in Rivière-Ouelle.[19]
