Thomas Lister was born about 1570 in East Morton, Yorkshire, , England, son of Bryan Lister (1535–1607) and Margaret (Yonge) Lester (1536–1607).
Thomas died in 1610 in East Morton, aged about 39. He was buried on 9 April 1610 at Bingley, Thomas Lister of Morton.[1] He left a will proved 16 September 1610, Thomas Lister of Morton.[2] Note, the will index gives the date of the will signature as 30 April 1610, after the burial, but the burial appears in order in the register so is more likely to be correct.
Thomas (19) married Isabel (Unknown) Lester (20) (born in 1569 in Morton, Yorkshire) on 19 Sep 1590 in Bingley, Yorkshire. Their children were:
Denny's pedigree of the Lister family in "Memorials of an Ancient House" gives children of Thomas and Isabel as Francis, Bryan, Thomas, William, John, Anne, and Mary.[3]
