Irving, born about 1915, was the son of Philip Litman and his wife Ida. His family emigrated from Russia to the United States in 1920 and settled in Buffalo, New York.[1]
He was recorded in the U.S. Census of 1940 living in Buffalo with his parents, wife Loretta, daughter Helene, and sister and brother-in-law.[2]
He and Loretta also had a son, Larry. Their daughter married Harry Kushner.[3]
