* Decatur Daily Newspaper Obituary, May 13, 1929 [Decatur, Alabama]: "F E LITTLEFIELD CALLED BY DEATH Passes Away After Short Illness Of Past Two Weeks Funeral services will be conducted at 3 o'clock at the residence of Mrs S W Irwin, 601 Canal Street for F E Littlefield. aged 75 who passed away Sunday evening at 9:45 o'clock following an illness of two weeks duration. The service will be conducted by Rev; J D Wallace of First Presbyterian Church with interment following at city cemetery, Brown directing. The following will act as pallbearers: Lamar Penny, H R Summer, John Maxwell, John Green, M O Troup, and B L Malone. The deceased is survived by one daughter, Mrs S W Irwin of Decatur, and one son F B Littlefield of Los Angeles, Calif. Mr Littlefield had been a resident here for many years having engaged in the abstract business. He came here from Monroe, Michigan. News of his death was received with sincere regret."
