Biography

Lydia was baptized on 12 May 1768 in Kennebunk. She was the daughter of Obediah Littlefield and Lydia Perkins.

Intention of marriage of Lydia Littlefield and John Webber on 26 Nov 1785 Wells, Maine.^[1]They were married on 21 Dec 1785 in Kennebunk.^[2]

According to submissions to the DAR, Lydia Littlefield, born 1768, married John Webber, born 2 Apr 1762 at Wells, York, ME Dist. MA. The submissions also say she died in 1841 at Kennebunk, York, ME. According to this source, they were married on 26 Nov. 1785.^[3][4]

Research Notes

If I have selected the wrong Lydia Littlefield for this honor, help me document and set the record straight. The child of theirs that is part of the lineage that was submitted is named Obadiah L. Webber and was married to Susanna Wakefield. Since Obediah is also her father's name, and the Littlefields and Wakefields have been close over the years, this feels OK unless someone can show me my errors. Thanks.
