James Littlejohn was born about 1785-6, (according to the gravestone stating he was 74 when he died in 1860 [1].

He was given the age of 55 in the 1841 Census, (born 1786)?[2].

James Littlejohn, 55, born Aberdeenshire, address: Auchmaliddie, Crofter, was in the 1841 Scotland Census. With him were wife Ann, 45, and children May, 12, George, 9, Ann, 6, and Wilson, 4.[2].

The 1851 Census shows James as a 65 yo widower, again indicating his birth in 1885-6. [3].

The Find A Grave profile incorrectly identifies his date of death as 1850 (9 March 1850), He is buried in the New Deer Churchyard, New Deer, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.[1].
