Boyd was born in 1888. In the 1900 census Boyd (age 12) was the son of Thomas J Litton in Magisterial District 1 Sandy Hook, Elliott, Kentucky, United States.[1]
In the 1910 census Boyd (age 21) was the single son of Thomas Litton in Devils Fork, Elliott, Kentucky, United States.[2]
Boyd was in a military record in 1917-1918 in Elliott, Kentucky, United States.[3]
In the 1920 census Boyd (age 31) was the married head of household in Elliott, Kentucky, United States.[4]
In the 1930 census Boyd (age 42) was the married head of household in Pine Grove, Rowan, Kentucky, United States.[5]
In the 1940 census Boyd (age 51) was the married head of household in Magisterial District 4 Pine Grove, Rowan, Kentucky, United States.[6]
Boyd was in a military record on 27 April 1942 in Hilda, Rowan, Kentucky, United States.[7]
