Biography

William Livesay was born in the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)
William Livesay is an Anzac who served in World War One.

William was born in 1879. He is the son of George Livesay and Isabella Bayes. [1]

At age 36 he enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force, and embarked from Adelaide on HMAT Anchises A68 on 28 Aug 1916. He served with the 27th Infantry Battalion. William was invalided home, arriving in Australia on 19 Oct 1918.

Not married, he passed away age 69 in 1948 [2] and was buried in West Terrace Cemetery. [3]
