Biography

Edward was born in 1768.
In 1831, after his wife had inherited the main estates of the unmarried Thomas Mostyn (-1831), the 6th Baronet Mostyn of Mostyn, he was raised to the peerage as Baron Mostyn, of Mostyn in County Flint on the day of the coronation of William IV, Hannover-15.
