CENSUS INFORMATION: In the 1841 UK Census, he is listed as James Lockett, a Lead Miner aged 60 (rounded) and born in county. He is living with his third wife (Elizabeth) and step-son (Thomas Jacka), in Goonhaven, Perranzabuloe. (HO107/150/11, Folio 95, Page 16).
In the 1851 UK Census, he is listed as James Lockett, a Farmer of 8 acres aged 74 and born in Perranzabuloe. He is living with his wife (Elizabeth) on Reen Common, Perranzabuloe. (HO107/1909, Folio 415, Page 6).
In the 1861 UK Census, he is listed as James Lockett, a Retired Farmer and Widower aged 86 and born in Perranzabuloe, Cornwall. He is living with his daughter (listed as Jane Lockett), a widow (and possibly a daughter-in-law), her 4 daughters, a son (all listed as Lockett), and a boarder, on Reen Downs, Perranzabuloe.
