Biography

William Fuller Lofty was son of solicitor Mathew Lofty and his wife, Janet Perry. He was born at Hanover Square in London on the 24th of November 1823 and was baptised on the 19th of December 1823 ^[1] at St George, Hanover Sq. ^[2]

His family was living at Portland Place in Camberwell in 1841. ^[3]

He was admitted to St John's College, Cambridge on the 25th of January 1843.^[1]

William died at Camberwell on the 10th of March 1844 aged 21 ^[1] and was buried at the Norwood Cemetery in Lambeth on the 18th of March. ^[4]
