Biography

Lester Alfred Long was born on November 19, 1911^[1] in Montgomery County, Ohio. See notes. He was the son of Alfred Eisley Long and Ethel Walker.^[2]

Lester married Alice May Brater on October 13, 1934 in Ripley County, Indiana.^[3] Alice and Lester had 5 children.^[1][4][5]

Lester died suddenly at his residence in Sayler Park on February 3, 1987.^[6][1] He is buried in Miami Cemetery, Miamitown (Hamilton County), Ohio.^[1]

Notes

Birth place discrepancy: Although the FindAGrave birth location is Liberty Township in Adams County, Ohio, it is far more likely that Lester was born in Liberty, Miami Township, Montgomery County as his sister Thelma was born in Germantown (Montgomery County), a little more than a year prior to Lester and his sister Hazel listed Liberty on her Social Security number form.
