1852 In Cuyahoga County, Ohio on 14 Aug 1852, W.H. Long and Alvira Calhoun proclaimed their intent to marry.[3][4]

1860 By 1860 Willam Henry Long had married, settled in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, USA with his wife and four children, and was working as a seaman on Lake Michigan:
