Biography

Caleb was born about 1787 in Kentucky.

His first wife was Sarah Lewis who he married in 1825 in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.[1]

In 1827 he married Peggy Mayfield.[2] Their children were:

  1. John
  2. Maria
  3. Polly
  4. Noah[3]

By about 1840 he was married to Missouri (last name unknown). They were the parents of:

  1. Elizabeth
  2. Frederick
  3. Louisa[4]
  4. Jacob
  5. George[5]

The last record for him is the 1860 census. He was 72 years old at that time. He was reportedly buried at Pulliam Cemetery in Mayfield, Missouri.[6]
