- ↑ Lancaster County Recorder of Deeds Book U p.239 : Deed dated 16 Apr 1782 between (i) Daniel Longenecker of Rapho Township and Anna his wife (daughter of John Witmer (dec'd) of Warwick Twp) and (ii) Michael Witmer (son of John Witmer (dec'd) of Warwick Twp). Records that John Witmer's will made in 1776 bequeathed his land in Warwick to Michael, and that Anna and Daniel received 1,000 pounds from Michael in exchange for relinquishing all claims to the land.
