Biography
1783 -- Gilbert Longstreet was born at Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia, a son of William Longstreet and Hannah FitzRandolph. [1]
Gilbert and Henrietta Eve Longstreet had 10 children: five daughters (Aphra A., Hannah B., Elizabeth E., Sarah, and Emma E.) and five sons (Gilbert 2a, Anderson-Paul, William, Gaston, and Gilbert 2b). [2]
August 2, 1851 -- Gilbert Longstreet died at Caldwell, Burleson County, Texas. He was buried at Providence Cemetery, Tunis, Burleson County, Texas. [3]
