1791 Upper Canada Land Petition
The Petition of Joshua Lousee, late private soldier in Major Jessup Corps, in behalf of himself and his two sons.
They received:

Joshua Losee Jun, Lot no 11, 4th Con Matilda
Cornelius Losee, Lot no 9, 4th Con Matilda
"which is impossible to cultivate, owing to its being an entire swamp, from the one end of the concession to the other.
Ask to relinquish this land and receive good land instead
