Biography
Deborah (Lothrop) Bursley was born on 20 Aug 1793 in Barnstable, Massachusetts, daughter of Isaac Lothrop (1758 - 1835) and Elizabeth (Scudder) Lothrop (1757 - 1795).
Her sister was Mary Crocker (Lothrop) Bursley (1800 - 1873).
Deborah married Joseph Bursley (1791 - 1870) on 28 Mar 1813 in West Barnstable, Massachusetts. Their children were:
- Elizabeth (Bursley) Fish (1821 - 1863)
- Deborah Bursley (1826 - 1905)
- James Bursley (1829 - 1888)
- Hannah Hinckley Bursley (1834 - 1845)
- Gilbert Everett Bursley (1837 - 1911).
Deborah died on 10 Mar 1840 in Barnstable aged 46. She is buried in Cobb's Hill Cemetery (East and West), Barnstable.
