Biography
Based on her declared age at her time of death Jane was born about 1861. According to her burial records she born in NZ. No record of birth registration can be found on the on-line birth registration index. She married Edward Jones in 1886. The couple had 6 children together. Jane died in 1932 and is buried in the Anderson's Bay cemetery in Dunedin.

- JONES —On November 26, 1932, at the residence of her daughter (Mrs C. Healey), 102 Cliffs road, St. Clair, Jane Elizabeth, loved mother of Mrs J. Johnson, Mrs G. Fraser, Mrs C. Belhvorthy, and Eric Jones, of Dunedin; also daughter of the late Captain Louden, Otago Heads; in her seventy second year. “At rest."
