William Love is a part of US Black heritage.

Birth and Family

William was born in 1889. He is the son of Julius Love and Susie Carr.[1]

In 1910, William A. Love is 21 years old and lives with his parents and siblings in Baltimore, Maryland. He is attending school.[2]

WWI

On 5 June 1917, William A. Love registered for the WWI draft. He gave his address as 1700 N. 3rd St., Kansas City, Kansas. He states he was born in Annapolis, Maryland and his occupation as physician/surgeon. William indicates that he is married, but does not provide his wife's name. He is described as short and slim with black hair and eyes. Under the observable disabilities it states 'no exemption'. [3]

Marriage and Family

Dr. William Albert Love married Geneva Lucretia Simmons in 1914. Geneva's parents were Carl and Mary Simmons. They received their license and were married in Alexandria, Virginia, United States.[4]

In 1920, Dr. Love and Geneva lived in Kansas City, Wyandotte, Kansas, United States. They live on North Third St. and share the home they own with another physician and his wife. [5] In 1930 and 1940, Dr. Love and Geneva live in the same home. There are no children listed.[6][7]

Death and Burial

Dr. William A. Love died on 31 December 1972 in Kansas City, Kansas. He is buried in Westlawn Cemetery, Kansas City, Wyandotte County, Kansas, USA. [8]
