Biography

Roy L Lowrance was born on June 5, 1906 in Clinton Township, Custer, Oklahoma Territory, son of Jessie B Lowrance (1861–1937) and Orpha M Stigall (1864–1934).

In 1910, Roy (4) was living in household of Jessie B Lowrance (48) in Clinton, Custer with his parents, Jessie B (48) and Orpha (43); his siblings, Annie L (19), Icie M (16), Cal S (15), Libbie V (14), Lilian (12), Robert J (11), Gladdis (9), Jack (8), and Aline (6); and R H Stigale (76), and A Vaughn (18). ^[1]

In 1920, Roy (14) was living in household of J B Lourance (59) in Custer, Oklahoma with his mother, Orpha Lourance (52); his siblings, Robert Lourance (20), Gladys Lourance (18), Jack Lourance (17), and Aline Lourance (16); and J B Lourance (59), Roy Lourance (14), and H C Stigall (61). ^[2]

In 1930, Roy (24) was living in household of Jessie Lowrance (68) in Clinton, Custer with his parents, Jessie (68) and Orpha (62); his siblings, Gladys (25), Aline (24), and Libbie McAbee (33); and Ray Lowrance (22), Billie McAbee (11), Ruth McAbee (4), Arch Fuller (27), and Mac Webb (21). ^[3]
