Biography
Julia Francis Lowther gave birth to her last child in 1869. This child died soon afterwards. Family records do not have her exact death date records, however a family photo picturing William and their three remaining children, which shows Henry Milton (b. 1867) as a very young child and the same photo has an empty rocking chair which was commonly used to depict a deceased mother leads to the likely death date for Julia Francis (Lowther) Waterman as being 1869-1870. She does not appear in the 1870 census.
