↑Mamie obituary The Evansville Courier, Wednesday 5 Sep 1956 p 7 on newspapers.com Mrs. Mayme Bawell, 83, of 26 E Oregon St., died at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday (4 Sep 1956) in Deaconess Hospital. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary at that church. Surviving are two sons, Herman and Charles; a daughter, Mrs Ralph Steinsultz, Harrisburg Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Grotto and Mrs. Floyd Anderson, both of Deyroit, Mich.; two stepsons, Henry and Wesley Bawell, both of Evansville, and three grandchildren. The body is at Miller nd Miller Funeral Home pending completion of arrangements.
