Biography

George was born on August 32, 1841 in Whitchurch, York County, Canada West (Now Ontario). He was the son of John Lundy and Hannah (Penrose) Lundy, both of whom are cited on the registration of his marriage.

He married Ruth Bowerman on August 9, 1872 in Whitchurch, York, Ontario. ^[1]She was a daugher of Amos Bowerman and Mary (Lewis) Bowerman.

They lived at Whitchurch and had six children: Vincent, Linton, Arthur, Sophia, Emily, and Lewis.

George passed away on March 10, 1917 in Newmarket at the age of 75.^[2]
