Lucius, son of Luther Lydell, came with his father from Otsego county and settled near him in Poland, Chautauqua county. He married Sophrona, daughter of Judge George Burnell, who came to Chautauqua county in 1810 and settled in the the town of Charlotte. Children: Marietta (sic), married A. J. Parker, now deceased; Francis, now deceased; Ransom B. of whom further.
