Mary was born in 1850 in Glasgow, Scotland. She was the daughter of Robert Lyons and Mary Lyons.
Mary departed Glasgow, Scotland and Londonderry, Ireland (on Britannia) on 10 July 1865 and arrived in New York on 10 July 1865.[1]
