Park died on 17 Feb 1948 in Shelocta, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, United States, aged 49.[1] He was buried in Oakland Cemetery and Mausoleum, Indiana, Pennsylvania.
Park married Nola Laurene (Pattison) Lytle (born on 2 Dec 1898 in Indiana County, Pennsylvania; daughter of Leslie Martin Pattison and Carrie Adella (Houck) Pattison) on 9 Jul 1925 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.
Park Lytle, 49, of Shelocta died at his late home at 11:55 o'clock. He was born in Indiana Feb. 2, 1899, the son of John and Clara Campbell Lytle. The deceased is survived by the following: wife, Nola Pattison Lytle, Shelocta; mother, Mrs. Clara C. Lytle, Indiana; one son, John Leslie Lytle, at home; two brothers, Paul, Pittsburgh, Samuel Eugene, Indiana. Most o his life Mr. Lytle spent in Indiana. He was a well-known musician having been associated with several Detroit orchestras. He was a member of the original red Waring Orchestra and traveled with them for a number of years. Mr. Lytle was a member of the Musicians Unnion of Detroit. Prior to returning to the county one year ago, the deceased was employed at the Hudson Motor Company in Detroit for 12 years. Interment in Oakland Cemetery.[2]
