Biography
In 1738 Donald purchased Loch Garry.
Donald was second in command of the Glengarry Regiment until the death of Colonel Angus MacDonell, Glengarry's second son, at which time Donald assumed command. After Culloden Donald escaped and fled to France. In 1747 his estate was forfeited.
