Biography
William MacDonell VC is Notable.
William was born in 1829 in Madras, where he was christened on 6 March 1830.[1] He was the son of Aeneas Macdonell.
The family moved to England and settled in Pittville House, Cheltenham.[2][1] shows a picture of the house.
By 1871, William is married with 6 children at home in Cheltenham.[3]
He died in 1894.
