Biography

Duncan MacFarlane is a member of Clan MacFarlane.

He is noticed in Ferguson's work[1] in the Marriage Register of the Scots Brigade as being the first husband to Janet Arrol. She is stated to be his widow when she remarries on 30 Dec 1712.

It seems likely he was killed in actions of the Scots Brigade during either 1711 or 1712.

He is stated to be a soldier in Colonel Cunningham's company, General Murray's Regiment.
