Herbert Seymour MacGroarty was born on the 31st August 1886, in Queensland, Australia, the seventh child, fifth son of Bernard Canning MacGroarty and Matilda Marie Gielis.[1]
In 1909 Herbert married Ethel Venn on the 11th August, in Queensland.[2]
In December 1909 their only known child, a daughter they named Ethel Tyndale, was born.[3]
Herbert Seymour MacGroarty passed away on the 22nd November 1961, in Mackay, Queensland, Australia, not quite three months after his 75th birthday.[4]
Herbert was buried in the Mount Bassett Cemetery, Mackay, where others of his extended family (including his parents) were also laid to rest.[5]
