Biography

He is first noticed in Ferguson's work[1] in the Marriage Register of the Scots Brigade when he appears in a contract of marriage, 8 June 1734 at Bosch, likely the small hamlet, 's-Hertogenbosch, in North Brabant and close by the Unit lines at Venlo, between himself, stated to be a Sergeant of Marjoribanks Company, and Pitternella Crol.
