Biography
Robert Daniel was born on 2 September 1826 in the first section of Bordeaux. He was the son of Jean Maccarthy and Georgete Lawton. His family name was changed to Mac Carthy by the civil tribunal in Bordeaux in 1889.[1] He married Elisabeth Hélène Pichon on 16 April 1873 in Blanquefort.[2]
