Norman MacDonald was the twelfth and final child of John Macdonald and Effie MacPhee. He was born on 27 Dec 1877 in Duirinish, Inverness-shire^[1].

He married Jessie MacDonald. Their children were:

• Norman Macdonald, born on 3 Aug 1910^[2]
